Flying insects (flies, moths, mosquitoes) are attracted by the ultraviolet light and immediately destroyed by the high-voltage grid.
Dead insects are collected in the removable tray at the bottom of the housing for easy cleaning and maintenance. Ultraviolet light is safe for humans and pets.
Compared to a fluorescent lamp, an LED lamp uses half the power (watts) to generate the same light output (lumens) and has a much longer life.
The high voltage power grid is a new design that greatly increases capture efficiency and meets all CE requirements.

Easy to use
- Hang or secure the unit at a height that children and pets cannot reach (2 metres or more is recommended). Connect it to the appropriate mains supply using the plug provided. The unit is supplied with a built-in lead acid battery and charger. To charge the battery, connect the charger cable to the shredder and insert the charger into a power outlet. Charging time: about 8 hours.
- You should clean your shredder weekly (more often if high levels of insects are present). Use the brush provided to clean the high voltage metal grid. Empty the dead insect box at the base of the unit by pulling it out.
