The biogen supplied offers a unique fermentation process. Made from a mixture of strands mixed with molasses, it is enriched with micro-organisms that are useful for breaking down food (lactic acid bacteria, yeast, photosynthesis, etc.). Care instructions :

Each time you empty your ORGANKO 2 bokashi, we recommend that you rinse it with clear water without using cleaners that could destroy the micro-organisms and their natural environment inside the composter.

Instructions for use :

1. Before placing waste in the composter, sprinkle 20 ml of powder over it.
2. Cut up any large pieces of organic waste. Place the waste in the composter.
3. Add 20 ml of powder to each new layer of waste. If you are adding a large quantity of waste, add more powder as well. We recommend that you add 20 ml of powder to every 5 cm of waste.
4. Squeeze the waste with the squeezer provided; this will compress the air, then fit the lid.
5. Prepare the container for the liquid Bokashi. Before unscrewing the cap, tilt the composter in the opposite direction to the cap, then unscrew it by 45 degrees. Then empty the liquid.
6. Fill the composter to about 5 cm below the rim. Empty the contents of the composter into the organic waste container or close it for 14 days to obtain a first-rate compost base. In this case, place the contents on top of the compost or in the soil. You should empty the liquid Bokashi regularly.
